What is the best way to save money while shopping for a new mattress?
Always double check prices with us. Even if the model names are different, chances are we have a comparable mattresses (if not identical) for less money at our Arizona mattress warehouse. This is how we earn your business day after day. Why pay retail prices for the same mattress?
How long have you been in business?
Southwest Mattress Wholesale is an extension of a successful family owned Scottsdale mattress warehouse business that has been operating in the Phoenix Metro area for the past 5 years.
Don Lydick the owner/principal of Southwest Mattress Wholesale got his start in the mattress discounters business with the help of two good friends Mike Droll and Andy Manahl. Their friendship started in 2008 and over time and upon learning more about their success led to the creation of Southwest Mattress Wholesale.
The founder, Mike Droll has over 30 years in the Retail Industry serving companies such as Gottschalks, Target, and Mervyns as well as being one of Mesa, Arizona’s police officers. Mike began in the mattress business as a pure wholesaler that eventually led to the opening of his mattress warehouse locations.
Prior to joining Mike, Andy served in the hospitality and resort industry as a professional golf instructor at the Phoenician Golf Resort.
Mike and Andy have now teamed up with Don Lydick and Southwest Mattress Wholesale to expand their model of success with the most affordable and unique shopping experience in a warehouse mattress environment.

What parts of town do you service?
At Southwest Mattress Wholesale we service the entire Phoenix Valley. In many cases, our prices are so low we can ship our mattress throughout the western United States (west of the Mississippi River) and still save our customer hundreds of dollars.
We have developed a very robust and efficient web e-commerce business. Not only will it help drive sales to our local store and local deliveries, but our partners have had success shipping mattresses to CA and other surrounding states. We feel that we have the product and price points to be able to ship to all points west of the Mississippi.
I don’t see the model I want on your site, where can I find it?
Just call 1-877-807-9901 or e-mail us. We carry most name brand mattresses. (Sometimes there are just too many to list on our site). Greater than 80+% of our call-in customers will be matched up to the same mattress they are looking for. And yes, the same mattress will have a different name at a different retailer. Just call or e-mail, we will find it for you.
I want to replace my existing mattress with one just like it, how do I match it to yours?
Mattress lines usually change every 12 to 18 months. So if your mattress is more than 12-18 months old, you probably will not be able to find it. However there will most always be a replacement that will be similar if not identical. Please call and we can review our inventory with you….we have a very high success rate with matching your existing mattress.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes! Generally we are even able to offer delivery the same day you pick out your new mattress. However, if for some reason we aren’t able to, we can have your mattress out to you within 24-48 hrs. We do charge for delivery, and that varies depending upon where you’re located. Feel free to call or email us with any questions regarding this.
